One candidate arrived at my door at suppertime and I was able to mention my concern about the issue of homelessness. There are so many things I could have talked about. I don't believe that any party is really addressing issues of concern to me.<BR/>Solzhenitsyn talked about the negative value of progress. He pointed out that most so-called progress has been in areas of military technology and creature comforts.<BR/>The economic roller coaster is taking us round a very sharp bend. Let's pray that it slows down before people get their necks broken. Maybe another minority government will give us some breathing room and prod our politicians into making some improvements in both process and structure.
